Our cutting board refinishing service is designed to restore and rejuvenate your beloved cutting boards. Over time, normal use will wear down the board's surface. Refinishing is a cost effective and renewable way to keep your board working for years to come.
Our process involves meticulous planing and sanding to remove scratches and blemishes, followed by a thorough application of food-safe mineral or pure tung oils that nourish and protect the wood. The board is then finished with our own Blade & Board Paste to repel water and food.
Once purchased, we will contact you to schedule a date and time to drop-off your board in Mead, CO for refinishing.
Disclaimer: The process of refinishing removes top layers of wood, this will result in a very slight reduction in overall board thickness. Wood is a natural product and may have natural inclusions that are exposed during refinishing.
The condition of your cutting board will be reviewed and documented before any work starts. Any concerns regarding your board and refinishing will be communicated.
